Dynamic and Elegant Squarespace Website for a Symphony Orchestra
NASHVILLE PRAISE SYMPHONY
Nashville Praise Symphony needed a website update that was aimed at creating a more engaging and informative platform for their audience. They are a Christian symphony orchestra that performs benefit concerts for ministries in the Nashville area. Because of this, they really wanted a new website that highlighted the ministries that they worked with.
The challenge lay in the limited availability of images from concerts, prompting the decision to convert them all to black and white. This not only brought consistency to the visuals but also added a touch of class and professionalism to the entire site. To infuse character into the design, a circle motif was introduced, starting with the hero section on the home page and extending to the logos on the ministry section. Testimonials from individuals at each ministry were also included to show how each person has benefited from the support raised at the concerts.
An Events section was integrated, providing users with information on upcoming concerts, their locations, and the ministries each concert benefits. We also added a store to sell their CD’s with a streamlined the checkout process, offering a more user-friendly experience compared to the previous site.
The color palette was inspired from the red in the logo, and a bold black was introduced to create a sophisticated and visually appealing contrast. This simplicity served to enhance the impact of the black and white photos, giving the site a cohesive and elegant aesthetic.
A significant visual upgrade came with the introduction of a more trendy and eye-catching logo. This change not only modernized the brand but also contributed to the overall visual appeal of the website.
Beyond the functional enhancements, the new website serves as a powerful tool to raise awareness about Nashville Praise Symphony. It not only showcases their commitment to supporting ministries but also functions as a recruitment platform for new orchestra members. Overall, the updated website successfully balances aesthetics and functionality, serving the dual purpose of promoting the organization's mission and expanding its reach in the community.
